The RELEASE ORDER TAB VIEW is the central repository for all information contained on a Release Order.
Click the screen arrowto display SUMMARY screen:
Only a search by Process Number and searches by Issuing or Entering User allow direct retrieval of Release Orders. In other searches, Release Orders will have to be selected from a returned CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW. Once retrieved from any search, the RELEASE ORDER TAB VIEW will display and contains the following information:
Breadcrumb trail - A series of links to previously visited NCAWARE "pages" (screens). For more information, see Overview of Standard Functions.
Process information line - The County, File Number, Process Type and Status of the process.
Person information line - True Name of the either the Defendant or other persons associated with the process. The Defendant on the process displays by default. All other associated persons will only display if currently being edited or assigned to the process. (for Mecklenburg County Defendants only, the In Jail indicator also displays.)
Precautionary/Notification line - This section displays any outstanding processes associated with the person displayed on the Person information line. Also, an indicator will display if the person has associated LEO Precautionary or Notification flags. See View Person Notes for Help on this subject.

Specific Release Order information is organized into "tabs", with each of the following sections appearing on an individual tab. See the linked topics for Help specific to each tab and process function:
Defendant - Displays and allows for edits of the Defendant information on the case.
Offenses - Once a Release Order is added, the Offense from the initiating process defaults to this tab and can be viewed. No edits of an offense are allowed from a Release Order.
Conditions - Displays and allows for the add or edit of release details, including Bond Type and Amount, Domestic Violence Hold, Detention Facility, and Arrestable Restrictions.
Related Cases - Displays and allows attachment or removal of other initiating process related (attached) to the Release Order.
Court Info - Displays and allows for an add of Court data to the case, or an edit of default Court data from the initiating process
Additional Forms - Lists additional conditions forms, if any, associated with the Release Order. Also allows for adds, edits, or deletes of these forms.
Summary - Displays a synopsis, and allows for editing, of Release Order details. This tab is where a Release Order can be issued and is where the Service Date is set.
