Search for a LEO

In NCAWARE, Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) are added to the database either by requesting access to the system, or by users when adding LEOs as participants on initiating processes, or in other capacities.

LEO records and related functions are accessible from the MAIN MENU, or from the Complainant, Witness and other screens. Below are the steps to search for a LEO in any circumstance.

Before you start:

  • At least one field besides Search Option must be entered to perform a search.

  • Redundant or old LEO records can be set to "inactive", which will hide them from future LEO searches. For details on this function, see Setting LEO Records as Inactive.

    1. A LEO search is initiated from the MAIN MENU, COMPLAINANT or WITNESS tabs, or where a LEO is used in other capacities

    1. The LEO SEARCH screen displays. The following search criteria is available:

Enter search criteria and then click the Search button.

Note: When clicked, the Search button will display as inactive until the search completes.
