View a Subpoena

Unlike other initiating or subsequent processes in NCAWARE, Subpoenas are added and issued ("generated") along with a process. In all cases, a user simply enters the required Subpoena data while assigning a Complainant or Witness to an initiating process, then opts to generate a Subpoena.

The Subpoena will then generate (issue) automatically when the initiating process is issued. Once generated, the Subpoena can be printed along with the initiating process, and details can be viewed on the SUBPOENA tab of the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW.

Below are the steps to view Subpoena data once generated (issued).

Before you start:

Edits to Complainant and Witness Assignment data (including Subpoenas) are disallowed once a process has been issued (status = Unserved or Served).

Search for and retrieve the process (case) that contains the Subpoena.
The CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW of the case displays. Click the SUBPOENAS tab.
