Unlike other initiating or subsequent processes in NCAWARE, Subpoenas are added, issued ("generated"), and printed along with a process. In all cases, a user simply enters the required Subpoena data while assigning a Complainant or Witness to an initiating process, then opts to generate a Subpoena.
The Subpoena will then generate (issue) automatically when the initiating process is issued. Once generated, the Subpoena can be printed along with the initiating process, and details can be viewed on the SUBPOENAs tab of the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW.
Since the printing of Subpoenas is directly related to the printing of initiating processes, it is better to view these steps and rules as a whole.
