View a Person

Once a person is added to NCAWARE as a participant on a process or in other capacities, the central repository for all data related to the Person record becomes the PERSON TAB VIEW. This screen displays directly from the MAIN MENU, or indirectly from many searches including those to add process participants.

If the viewed Person record has any associated outstanding processes, this fact will be displayed in a red banner above the "tabs." Also, the existence of any law enforcement precautionary or investigative Notes will be displayed in this banner.

Below the banner, specific Person record data is organized into "tabs." Each division of Person data is assigned its own unique tab where related information can be viewed, or a related action (add, edit, or delete) can be taken:

The tabs are listed here. Click on a link for more information on a particular tab:

Note: The CONTACTS, EMPLOYER INFORMATION, MARKINGS, Known Assoc. and Gangs, and Notes tabs are available by clicking the Next button

The following are the steps to view a Person record in NCAWARE:

    1. From the MAIN MENU, select the Person link (or a Person search is initiated from a process).

    2. The PERSON SEARCH screen displays. Search for the Person to be viewed.

    3. The PERSON SEARCH RESULTS screen displays with the returns from the search. Select the radio button of the Person from the list and click the View button.

Other Functions:

Note: Person records converted ("stubbed") from the Magistrate System may not display all fields required by NCAWARE. Any required fields unavailable during conversion will display as Unknown or Not Available, depending on the situation. For more Help on this subject, see Converted (Stubbed) Records.
