Search for a Person

The Person Search function exists in many different areas in NCAWARE and is identical in all. Below are the steps to search for a Person record using either a Name or ID Number.

Before you start:

  • A search can only be a Search by Name or Search by ID Number. A combination search is not allowed.

  • At least three (3) characters of a First Name and Last Name are required to Search by Name using "Begins With."

  • A Search by ID Numbers will not search partial entries.

  • When searching for a Defendant on a process, no Person records with a DOB less than 16 years of age at time of offense will display (unless emancipated).
