The PROCESS TAB VIEW is the central repository for all information contained on an initiating process. This includes all Citations (based on Orders), Orders, Summons, and Warrants.
The PROCESS TAB VIEW is the default screen of a process with a status of Incomplete or Complete, either when initially added or when retrieved from a search. Once the status of a process changes to Unserved or Served (through issuance), the default screen becomes the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW. For a process that is Unserved or Served, the PROCESS TAB VIEW can be accessed from the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW and vice versa.
The PROCESS TAB VIEW contains the following information:
Breadcrumb trail - A series of links to previously visited NCAWARE "pages" (screens). For more information, see Overview of Standard Functions.
Process information line - The County, Temporary File Number (TMP), Process Type and Status of the process.
Conversion notification line - This line displays only if the original process was converted ("stubbed") from ACIS or Magistrate System and you selected to view the PROCESS TAB VIEW from the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW (the default view for issued processes). Displayed are the original source system of the process and an informational message based on the status. Here are the possible scenarios:
If the original process or OFA was created in ACIS and has an Unserved-Paper status, click here.
If original process was created in Magistrate System and has an Unserved-Paper status, click here.
Person information line - True Name of the either the Defendant, Complainant, Witness or other persons associated with the process. The Defendant on the process displays by default. All other associated persons will display only if currently being edited or assigned to the process. (for Mecklenburg County Defendants only, the In Jail indicator also displays.)
Precautionary/Notification line - This section displays any outstanding processes associated with the person displayed on the Person information line. Also, an indicator will display if the person has associated LEO Precautionary or Notification flags. See View Person Notes for Help on this subject.

Note: Processes converted ("stubbed") from ACIS or Magistrate System may not display all fields required by NCAWARE.
