Multiple Process Print Due to Defendant Edit

When an edit of Defendant information on a process is performed after the process is issued, it is possible to simultaneously print all of the processes affected by the edits. Due to the possibility of several different process types being involved in a print, the rules and flow of a multiple print are slightly different than a print of a single process. Here are the steps.

Before you start:

  • The processes available for a multiple print due to Defendant edit are:

  • Processes with a status of Unserved, that were issued by the user making the edits, and have the same Defendant that is being edited.

  • A Draft copy is the only print allowed of a process converted from ACIS to NCAWARE.

  • The ability to print a specific copy type is also based on a user's role. Click on a copy type for details: Original, Defendant, Court, Draft, and Other.

  • A record of an Original copy print of each process will be kept in Process Tracking.

    1. After the edits to a Defendant are submitted on an issued process, the AFTER ISSUANCE CONFIRMATION screen displays. A list of all processes affected by the Defendant edits is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Click the Print button.

  1. The PROCESS PRINT screen displays, listing all processes to be printed and any related forms. The following fields are possible based on the processes being printed:

Make changes to any defaulted Copy and other checkboxes (including the checkbox of any processes or forms to be printed), then click either the Print Direct button (to send the print job directly to the printer), or Create Document button (to view an electronic versions of the documents before printing).
