To assist with the tracking and processing of Unserved (outstanding) processes, the Statewide Warrant Search application is provided. This application searches both NCAWARE and ACIS databases for Unserved processes and places the returns in a single screen. Below are the steps to perform a Statewide Warrant Search for persons currently listed as Defendants on Unserved processes:

From STATEWIDE SEARCH - outstanding processes, click the Search by Person link.
The STATEWIDE
SEARCH - defendant screen displays. The following search groupings/fields
are available:
Name Search
SSN Search
SSN (searches only NCAWARE)
DMV Search
Address Search
Search Filters
Display Options
Notes:

Enter search criteria and click the Search button.

The STATEWIDE SEARCH RESULTS screen displays, listing the returns from the search. Typical person and process data fields are displayed:
Defendant Name, Image, DOB, Race, Sex, DMV ID, Address, County/File Number, Height, Weight, Hair Color, SSN, Process Type, Offense(s)

Options to directly access the Person or Case records are also available:
If a Defendant Name link is clicked, the PERSON TAB VIEW of the Person record displays defaulted to the PERSON DEMOGRAPHICS tab. All information is view-only.
If a File Number link is clicked, the CASE SUMMARY TAB VIEW (or OFA - SUMMARY TAB VIEW) of the selected File Number displays. All information is view-only.
If one or more checkboxes
are selectedand the Generate
Report button is clicked, the Outstanding
Process Report for the selected records will display and is
available for printing.
As a convenience, the Search
Options menu is available containing the Domestic Violence, Victim's Rights, and Display Defendant Image checkboxes.
These can be applied to the current search results to avoid having to
return to the search screen.
