Clerk Role

The Clerk role has two types, Full and Limited. The differences between the two types exist mainly in the ability to delete processes. Both types are addressed in the following tables.

Note: If you are connected to NCAWARE via the Internet (as opposed to the Intranet or VPN), your rights will be limited to the Inquiry role.

Note: You may encounter the term Conversion Clerk. This is an internal system-only role used during conversion to provide "ownership" of processes where the original creator is unknown. There is one Conversion Clerk per county. Other than the described function, this role has no other use and will not be assigned to any User IDs.
