Criminal Discovery for Defense Attorneys |
The Criminal Discovery application allows district attorneys to post discovery to a secure website so that defense attorneys assigned to a case may safely, securely, and conveniently download discovery. This Setup and Usage Guide provides instructions for web browser settings, instructions for accessing Criminal Discovery, and an overview of Criminal Discovery’s key functions.
With the Release of 5.2.7 on April 6, 2016, the case results logic will only display pending cases and cases that have been closed within 180 days (6 months). Any case that has a CCIS-DA Date Case Closed value greater than 180 days will automatically be excluded from the users list. If an old case gets appealed and the case no longer is displayed, a user will be able to search by Case Number or Defendant Last name and ultimately retrieve the case.
