The System will conduct a search on each individual ID Number entered and provide matches on any of the ID numbers in the Person Search Results screen (an OR search).  However the following ID's are multiple fields on the screen, but are always searched as an AND combination:

DMV ID and DMV State

LID Agency County/Type/Name (3 fields) and LID Number.  

Example when values are entered for SSN and DMV ID/State: the search results would show all matches on the entered SSN AND all matches on the DMV ID in the specified state.

The system will search using 'Exact Match' for all fields entered.  

Exceptions:

 

1) For Middle Names, records should be returned that match exactly in addition to records with no Middle Name.

 

2) If Age is entered, match on all ages + or – five years of the entered value.

The system will search for all matching persons that start with the text entered for Last Name, First Name, or Middle Name fields.  

For Middle Names, records should be returned that match the begins with criteria in addition to records with no Middle Name.  

All other fields entered will be added to the search as an exact match.  

Exceptions:

 

1) If Age or DOB is entered, match on all ages + or – five years of the entered value.

 

2) If Race is entered, search as follows

A: Asian or Pacific Islander - All

I: American Indian or Alaskan Native - All

B: Black - All except W

W: White - All except B

U: Unknown - All

 

3) If Sex is entered, search as follows:
